How to Protect Your Computer From The Meltdown And Spectre CPU Vulnerabilities
Two serious CPU flaws -- named Meltdown and Spectre -- were disclosed to the public this week. These are hardware flaws in the processors that can allow attackers to access sensitive data on a computer's kernel memory, including passwords, photos, emails, or anything else on your computer. These bugs are especially nasty because they affect virtually everyone, whether on PC or Mac, desktop or mobile, and even in the cloud. How to Stay Safe:

- Update your operating system (Windows, macOS and Linux)

- Check for firmware updates on Intel processors

- Update your browser

- Make sure your antivirus/antimalware is active
